Replacement of the filter(s)
The more often the better for the efficiency of the cleaner.
In standard household use, the filters should be replaced
approximately every 3 years. Never use the vacuum cleaner
without filter(s).
- Model without exhaust filter has to be equipped with a
combination-filter (micro-filter + motor-filter, Ref. No. EF
74).
Open the front cover and lift out the **insert holding the
s-bag® (25). / **Grasp Ergobox™ and lift it out (29)
36 Pull the filter(s) holder upwards until coming away
from the groove. Carefully pull the old, dirty filter(s)
out of the filter holder and replace with a new
filter(s).
37 Reattach the filter holder containing the new filter(s).
**Replace the insert holding the s-bag® (28) / **Put
Ergobox™ back in the cleaner (35) and then close the
cover.
- Model with exhaust filter Follow steps (**25 / **29; 36 ),
and replace old motor-filter with a new one. Then follow
steps . (37; **28 / **35)
Replacement of the exhaust filter*
There are three types of exhaust filter:
• Microfilter (Ref. No. EF 17)
• Hepa H12 non washable (Ref. No. EF H12)
• Hepa H12 washable (Ref. No. EF H12W)
The filters must always be replaced with new ones and
cannot be washed (if not mentioned).
38 Place your thumbs on the back edge of the lid and
then open the lid by pulling the handle backwards
and upwards with your index/middle finger.
39 Lift out the filter. Insert a new filter and replace the
lid as shown.

Filterwechsel
Häufiger Filterwechsel gewährleistet eine optimale Leistung.
Bei haushaltsüblicher Nutzung sollten die Filter ca. alle drei
Jahre ersetzt werden. Bei sehr häufigem Gebrauch, Saugen
großer Fläche oder starker Verschmutzung, besonders aber
wenn feiner Staub gesaugt wurde kann der Austausch auch
früher erforderlich sein. Den Staubsauger niemals ohne
Filter benutzen.
- Modelle ohne Abluftfilter benötigen einen
Kombinationsfilter (Mikrofilter + Motorfilter, Bez.-Nr. EF 74).
Die Frontabdeckung öffnen und **Einsatz mit Staubbeutel
s-bag® (25) bzw. / die **Ergobox™ entnehmen (29).
36 Filterhalter nach oben aus der Führung ziehen. Alte(n),
verschmutzte(n) Filter vorsichtig aus dem Filterhalter
ziehen und gegen neue(n) Filter austauschen.

Filterhalter mit neuen/m Filtern(n) wieder einsetzen.
**Den Einsatz mit dem s-bag®-Staubbeutel /28)
bzw. die **Ergobox™ wieder in den Staubsauger
einsetzen(35) und dann den Deckel schließen.
- Modelle mit Abluftfilter: Schritte (**25 / **29; 36 )
ausführen und alten Motorfilter gegen neuen austauschen.
Anschließend Schritte befolgen: (37; **28 / **35)
Austauschen des Abluftfilters*
Es gibt drei Arten von Abluftfiltern:
• Mikrofilter (Bez.-Nr. EF 17)
• Hepa H12 nicht auswaschbar (Bez.-Nr. EF H12)
• Hepa H12 auswaschbar (Bez.-Nr. EF H12W)
Bei Verschmutzung müssen die Filter stets gegen neue Filter
ausgetauscht werden und können – sofern nicht angegeben
– nicht ausgewaschen werden.

Die Daumen auf die hintere Kante des Deckels legen
und Deckel durch Ziehen des Griffs nach hinten und
oben mit dem Zeige-/Mittelfinger öffnen.

Filter herausnehmen. Neuen Filter einsetzen und
Deckel wie gezeigt wieder anbringen.
